Use ChatGPT Dots in ChatGPT Space

Ask on a Space page

In ChatGPT Space, you can ask ChatGPT or your ChatGPT Dot to draft, research, or revise a page. Available agents and connected tools depend on your access.

Pick the ask path that matches the size of the change:

Mentioning ChatGPT or a dot asks that agent to act. A comment to another person is feedback for them—check the recipient before sending.

Use your Dot with @dot

Type @ in a page to open the mention menu and choose your Dot. You can also type @dot followed by a prompt inline or in a page comment. For example:

@dot Summarize the open questions in this page and suggest next steps.

Review the reply and any page edits before you continue.

Slash commands on the page

Type / to open the slash menu. Use Generate for inline text, Visualize for an interactive visualization, or Image for an image block (then Generate and describe what you want). These page tools are separate from messaging your Dot in ChatGPT, Slack, or Teams.

Recurring updates are not automatic from the page

Keep Updated is not available at launch. Writing a cadence in a page or its instructions does not by itself schedule a recurring task.

To set up recurring work, ask ChatGPT in chat and review the saved schedule. After setup, confirm the saved task, its timing, whether it is enabled, then check an actual run and the resulting page update. Controls depend on what your account offers. Collaborate carefully

Collaborators share the page content, but may use different agents, connected tools, or instructions. Agree who changes what and review the result before treating it as final.
